This qualification will provide you with practical skills and knowledge to carry out technical support functions in mechanical engineering research, design, manufacture operations, and maintenance. You will learn skills in computer aided drafting, computing, materials testing, mechanical and steelwork design. You will also learn about safety in the workplace, , quality controls, maths, and science. You will practice the skills you have learned in a engineering environment.
